I'm hoping that come Tuesday my pains will be eased by the satisfaction provided by the speedy machine.! My wallet is feeling more pain than it's ever felt before. I future proofed myself and went for the mac-daddy $2,199 model.

It was between the 15" MRPr with 256GB SSD, 8GB RAM, and Iris Pro Graphics for $1,699 (refurbished), and the 15" MBPr with 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM (overkill, I know), Iris Pro Graphics, and a dedicated nVidia GeForce 750m with 2GB RAM, for $2,199 (also refurbished). Just dropped the ball on a maxed out 2013 MRPr I've been eyeing for weeks now. I'm sure I could have gotten $50-$100 more had I waited for the right buyer, but I just wanted to get rid of it. I included a 3rd party Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter ($10 on Amazon) to sweeten the deal, and he wanted the old Incipio full-body case I had on it, which I had no use for anymore.Ĭonsidering I purchased it for around $1,200 refurbished 2 years ago, I'm happy to have sold it for the price I did. Received an inquiry a few days later, and had a back and forth for a few days with the interested party.Įnded up selling it to him today for $750. I ended up dropping the price to $800 on the ad. Only had a few hits in the first few weeks, mostly $600 offers. I had it up on Craigslist for about a month, priced at $899.
